The Best Free Trials
Companies often offer free trials in the hope of encouraging you to subscribe to their service. Most people take up the trial, enjoy the service (or forget about it) and then keep their subscription rolling (which is what the companies want), but you’re more than entitled to sign up for the free trial and then cancel before paying anything!
Here are my favourite free trials…
Netflix (1 Month Free Trial)
Stream movies & TV shows direct to your TV & other devices over the internet. Sign up for your 1 month free trial & remember to cancel if you don’t want to pay for a membership (from £5.99 a month)!

Prime Student allows you to stream TV shows and movies, grants unlimited One-Day Delivery on millions of items (ideal for last minute Christmas buying), gives you access to songs and playlists (ad-free!) & provides early access to Lightning deals (plus more discounts on stationary and access to exclusive prize draws).
After your trial is over your membership will cost you half the price (£39 a year), however, if you don’t want to continue you can cancel anytime!
Amazon Prime (Free 30-Day Trial)

Get a free month of unlimited access to all the magazines you could ever wish for with Readly!
Readly is the new way of reading magazines on tablets and smartphones & it’s so perfect for reading on the go – I’ve really enjoyed my free months of unlimited magazines! I also got £2.60 cashback for taking out my trial – so this is something worth checking out too!
Chili (First Film Free)
Watch movies & TV shows online or stream them to your devices. Discover new films, TV series latest seasons and movie premieres. We watched a fairly new film that I’m sure would have cost us a fortune to rent elsewhere so I would really recommend this one if you’re in the mood for a film night!
It’s also worth noting that right now Chili are offering £1.50 for new sign up’s through TopCashback! Yes you can earn money just by renting a film (no card details required!)
If you love a freebie make sure you check out my featured offers page, where I’ve posted the best sign up incentives that companies are offering to encourage you to use their service!
Please note: you are often asked to provide your credit/debit card details up front – but as long as you cancel your subscription before the end of the trial period you won’t be charged. Make sure to set a reminder to cancel a day before your free trial runs out!
