Collaborative post

Technology is constantly developing. Artificial intelligence (AI) is at the forefront of this development, changing‌ ‌how‌ ‌we‌ ‌approach‌ ‌healthcare,‌ ‌the‌ environment,‌ ‌consumer goods, and‌ ‌even the management of our finances.

I’ve been using AI to automate the way I promote my business as well as how I move money into my savings for the past few years. Here are some useful AI tools that you can utilise to improve your productivity and better manage your money.

AI to Improve Money Management and Productivity

What is Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think like humans and mimic our actions. AI makes it possible for machines to learn from experience, adapt and perform human-like tasks.

RNA automation points out that due to growing demands and competition in all industries, many manufacturers have turned to soft automation (also known as ‘flexible automation’). Vision robotic systems for example have allowed businesses to improve availability, performance and quality.

The development of artificial intelligence is largely positive with accessibility, healthcare, climate change and education all benefiting from AI. However, some worry about the negative repercussions of AI such as human laziness, lack of empathy and potential unemployment.

Managing Your Money with AI

Having a good money management plan can be the light at the end of the tunnel for people trying to get their financial life in order.

If like me you have several bank accounts, credit cards, a mortgage, and the rest, getting a grip and fully understanding your personal finances might seem like an uphill struggle. Artificial intelligence can help! Here are some of my favourite AI tools for money management:

  • The Chip app uses an algorithm to calculate a sensible amount you could save based on your wages and spending habits. This AI budgeting app then automatically moves an affordable amount of money into a savings account each week or month making money management effortless.
  • Cleo is very similar to Plum in that it uses to keep an eye on your spending and move money into a digital wallet. The biggest difference is that you can set cleo to roast you when you’ve been behaving badly.
  • Honey (a free browser extension) uses AI to search the web for discount codes and then automatically applies the best discount it can find to your basket.
  • Gener8 (another browser extension) offers you the opportunity to earn money from the ads you see online. Using clever online technology Gener8 rewards their users for their data.

As well as these tools, the majority of banks have either implemented artificial intelligence or are planning to do so in the near future. My bank now has an automatic savings tool.

Improving Your Productivity with AI

As well as better money management, artificial intelligence can also improve your productivity. You can use AI to automate the promotion of your business, track your progress and speed up production.

If you need a website as part of your business, AI can design it (AiDA – Artificial Intelligence Design Assistant), add helpful tools (such as 3D augmented reality), personalise the user experience, and automatically promote new content across your social media channels.

Here are some of the clever productivity tools that I use to automate and boost different areas of my work:

  • IFTTT (If This, Then That) helps you connect all of your different apps and devices. You can enable your apps and devices to work together to do specific things they couldn’t do otherwise.
  • Asta is a productivity app for Gmail accounts. With help of artificial intelligence it allows you to schedule email-based messages and create a group where your most important messages are sent in the form of a priority inbox.
  • Trevor connects your to-do list with your calendar so you can perform tasks at the best times for you.

If used correctly, artificial intelligence offers a tremendous opportunity to enhance productivity across many areas of life. From improving a business’s online operations to optimizing personal finance management, AI can handle routine tasks and free up time for people to focus on what truly matters. Companies like Spunch are at the forefront of developing intelligent solutions that help organizations and individuals unlock this potential and make AI a practical ally in everyday efficiency.
