Whether you’re a new blogger or you’ve been blogging for a while there are places you can find paid blogging work. Whether or not you started your blog to earn money, it’s definitely a nice bonus to earn and be recognised for the work you put into your blog.
Blogging is my favourite side hustle and I regularly earn £1000+ a month from paid blogging work. In this post I share 5 of the best places bloggers can apply for and gain paid work, specifically sponsored and guest posts.

I know bloggers who have quite their job to blog full-time. There are a whole range of ways to earn money as a blogger, from sponsored posts, affiliate marketing, selling backlinks to advertising your freelance writing, online courses or digital products via your blog.

Before you can find paid blogging work
In order to gain paid blogging opportunities, there are a few things you need to know first. Below is a list of some key things you need as a blogger and a brief explanation of why.
- A domain name – this is the name of your blog, if your ‘domain name’ ends in .wordpress or .blogspot (or similar) you don’t technically own it, WordPress/Blogspot do. You can usually buy a domain name for around £10 per year. Without this you’re very unlikely to gain paid blogging work.

- Niche – picking a niche that you’re knowledgable about and enjoy is vital. It’s also worth considering the profitability of different blog niches too.
- Content – for your blog to start generating traffic and gaining the interest of potential collaborators you need content. I’d recommend aiming to have published 20-30 blog posts published before looking for paid work.
- A brand – your ‘brand’ is important when it comes to attracting paid opportunities. Your domain name, logo and blog design will all form part of your brand. I’d also suggest creating branded social media channels to promote your blog.
Once you are confident that you have a great domain name, a secure host, content that people want to read and a recognisable brand you can start to find paid blogging work. Below are some of the places I’ve gained blogging opportunities from in the past.
Get Blogged
Get Blogged is an outreach service that offers paid blogging work through they online platform. Browse through the assignments available to your blog and look for an opportunity that suits your site. The assignments are available to bloggers with a DA of 5+. You can find out what your DA is using Moz’s Domain SEO Analysis Tool.
Payment varies on the assignment but the higher your DA is the more you can expect to be paid for completing one of their assignments. Get Blogged are upfront about what you will be paid for each assignment so you know the rate of pay before you start working on a post.
You can also apply for sponsored and guest posts in the Get Blogged marketplace. The opportunities in the marketplace tend to be a little more specific and require you to pitch to the brand directly.
Intellifluence
Similar to Get Blogged, Intellifluence connects brands with bloggers and influencers. Create an account, specify your fee and apply to work on one of their paid blogging opportunities.
Payment is discussed between you and the brand, with terms including blog posts, social media shares and newsletter features. Intellifluence don’t take a fee from you as the blogger but they do hold your payment for 14 days (to make sure that both you and the brand are happy with the transaction).
Getfluence
Getfluence is a blogger outreach service with a Worldwide blogging community that connects brands & bloggers via blogging assignments. There’s a whole host of paid blog work available and you can set your prices, along with any additional advertising options that brands can pay to include.
Payment for the work advertised on Getfluence is in Euro’s but they display the conversation so you can see what you would earn in your own currency.
Blogging Groups
Networking with other bloggers can be one of the most effective ways to open doors to paid opportunities. Building genuine relationships within your niche allows you to share knowledge, exchange guest posts, and collaborate on projects that showcase your expertise to wider audiences. Many bloggers also refer work to others when they’re overbooked or come across opportunities that better suit someone else’s skills. Engaging in blogging communities, attending virtual meetups, and actively participating on social platforms can help you form these connections.
