Aura Print – Business Card Review

AD – WRITTEN IN COLLABORATION WITH AURA PRINT

Business cards are an extension of your brand, they offer you an opportunity to make new connections and increase your brand visibility. Being able to send a potential new contact away with your business details is far more likely to gain their attention than just verbally mentioning what you do.

A business card is merely a bit of paper which has your contact information printed on it – it’s a marketing tool which if used correctly can expand your network and generate future sales.

I’ve always wanted some professionally printed business cards so today I’m going to review the business cards that I had printed through Aura Print.

Why business cards are still important?

There are many reasons why business cards are still an important piece of marketing for your brand.

  • A business card could be the first impression potential customers have with your brand, your business and of you.
  • A good business card will rarely get discarded, meaning it is still working for you weeks or months after it’s been received.
  • Business cards are much more personal than email or online marketing. A handshake and exchange of business cards creates a greater impact than an online correspondence.
  • Business cards show you’re a professional and serious about your business.
  • Good business cards get shown to others and shared between contacts and colleagues. A clever, well-designed business card is a great way to get referrals.
  • Business cards allow for spontaneous marketing – you randomly create a new contact and you’re able to send them home with a little bit of your business.

My Aura Print Review

Aura Print allowed me to choose whether I wanted to send in my own design or have something custom designed by their team. Using the aura-print.com website, you can send a simple brief for them to design by specifying your preferred size, paper, weight, colours, and finish – they then send you a proof of the design for approval.

Depending on artwork and the specification of your order, printing and posting could take anything between 2-6 working days. Please note, turnaround time starts from the point of proof approval, so make sure to check your emails for a proof from their design team!

I received a text on the date of my delivery so that I could make sure to be in to receive them. The were packaged well with padding to make sure that they didn’t get damaged and came in some handy boxes that I’ll use to store my business cards.

I’m really impressed with the quality of the cards, they’re thick – so durable and unlikely to get damaged. The quality of the printing is brilliant (I’d added some texture to my design and this was printed perfectly). It’s clear that attention to detail is key for Aura Print – they added a golden finish (my business colour) to the sides of the business cards which I thought added an attention grabbing element to the overall design.

I’ve always wanted business cards but have been reluctant to pay out a lot of money to potentially not be happy with the final result. I can softly say that I’m really happy with what Aura Print have produced and only wish that I’d invested in these business cards sooner!
