Monzo is an ‘online bank account’. I opened a Monzo account a few years back (see review) – it’s brilliant for sending money between friends/splitting bills and building savings pots. Cheddar is one of my favourite cashback apps – simply connect your bank account through open banking to earn cashback when spending with selected retailers and buying gift cards through the app.

Chase – £50 for new users

Zilch Rewards – £5 sign-up bonus

American Express (Gold Rewards) – points worth up to £150
The American Express Preferred Rewards Gold credit card welcome bonus is currently 22,000 points for new users. This one is my favourite rewards credit card as it comes packed full of perks.
There are some conditions to be aware of:
- You’ll need to spend £3,000 in three months, to get the bonus points.
- The card is free for 1 year, but has a £195 annual fee after that – so set a reminder if you plan on cancelling after 12 months (cancelling is easy online, in the app, or over the phone).
As well as the £150 worth of points you’ll also get £5 back on up to two Deliveroo orders each month and 4 free priority airport lounge visits. I took out my Amex card before a big purchase to increase my points.

Earn a £10 bonus for being invited to American Express. The bonus is rewarded when you spend over £1 with the Platinum Cashback card. You’ll also earn 5% cashback (up to £100) for the first 3 months of Cardmembership (new Cardmembers only).

Tide (Business) – £50 free
Tide is a UK financial technology company providing mobile-first banking services for sole traders and small businesses. It’s incredibly easy to set up your account with Tide and they’ll offer you £50 when you sign up and spend £500 on your Tide card (doesn’t have to be in one go).

Tembo – £10-£100 bonus
Tembo is an app that offers cash ISA, Lifetime ISA and mortgage services. They currently have an offer where if you sign up with my referral link, you’ll get between £10-£100 paid into your savings account.
They have one of the highest interest rates with their Cash ISA at 4.1%. You’ll need to deposit or transfer £500 or more into a Cash ISA or LISA within 30 days to be eligible for the sign up bonus.
Quidco – £15 bonus with £5 spend
I’ve been a big fan of Quidco since the beginning of my money-saving journey. Earning money through Quidco is effortless, every time you want to buy something from an online retailer search for them through Quidco to earn a percentage of your shop back.
