Birthday Freebies – Claim 20+ Free Treats on your Birthday
Got a birthday coming up soon? You can bag a ton of food, drinks, discount and more all for free on your birthday. Why not treat yourself to lots of birthday freebies in the lead up to your special day this year.
Here are some of my favourite birthday freebies and discounts that I claim every year.

Usually, you’ll need to sign up to a newsletter or download an app but its well worth it for the free treats! Carry on reading to find out how to claim your birthday freebies, including the key terms and conditions.
UK Birthday freebies and discounts
Turtle Bay – £20 voucher
Turtle Bay offer a free £20 birthday voucher (no minimum spend). To claim, register your details on the Turtle Bay app.
The voucher is added to your app on your birthday. Share your code with your server to claim the discount.
The BOX – £15 voucher
You’ll be emailed a £15 voucher to spend on food, drinks and games at The BOX when signing up to their mailing list.
Prior to your birthday you’ll receive an email with the voucher, show this to your server to claim the discount.
Krispy Kreme – free doughnut
Download the Krispy Kreme Rewards app & register for the free loyalty scheme to get a free birthday gift – doughnut of your choice worth £1.65-£2.99. You’ll also get a free doughnut just for signing up & free glazed doughnuts for your children & significant other via the app on their birthdays.
These offers are only valid at official Krispy Kreme stores & available to claim during your birthday month.
Lidl – free doughnut
Sign up to the Lidl Plus app to get a free doughnut or cookie from the bakery section on your birthday (no minimum spend). You’ll receive the coupon via your Lidl Plus app.
Lindt – free box of chocolate
Join MyLindt Rewards for a Lindt birthday reward – they’ll send you a voucher to redeem in Lindt Chocolate Shops or via their eShop.
The Body Shop – £5 voucher
Sign up to the free Body Shop* ‘Love Your Body’ loyalty card to get a free body shop birthday voucher worth £5 voucher to spend in-store or online with no minimum spend. Your voucher is valid for up to one month after your birthday, there’s no change from the £5 (see full T&Cs*).
You have to have made at least one purchase using the card previously within the past 12 months to be eligible.
Costa – free cake
Register on the Costa app to earn free drinks, you’ll also get free cake on around your birthday (make sure to add your birthdate when registering).
Use invite code ‘AAJL3’ to get closer to your first free drink.
Boost Juice Bars – free drink
Pick up a card & register with the Boost ‘VIBE’ loyalty card. Once you’re signed up you’ll get free boost juice birthday drink every year. Plus, for every drink you buy, you’ll be rewarded one point – when you have nine points you’ll be able to get more free drinks.
You have to have made at least one purchase from Boost within the past 12 months to be eligible.
Barburrito – free burrito
Pick up a card and register with the Barburrito ‘La Familia’ loyalty card. You’ll need to register your card at least four days before your birthday to get the voucher. You’ll get barburrito birthday burrito around your birthday & one point per full-priced main dish purchased. When you have 9 points you can exchange them for a free main dish.
You have to have made at least one purchase using the BarBurrito app within the past 12 months to be eligible. Use code TMZMO to get a free treat when signing up.
Greggs – free sweet treat
Download the Greggs app & use it to register for the free Greggs Rewards loyalty scheme.
You’ll get one free cupcake, cream cake or doughnut for your birthday – the voucher will be valid for one month from the date of your birthday. You’ll also get a free hot drink upon registering, as well as various monthly offers of free soft drinks & snacks.
Subway – free cookie
Register with the Subway loyalty scheme to get a free cookie around your birthday, every year.
No purchase necessary to claim your cookie, it’s completely free. You can redeem the offer by scanning your Subcard or showing the voucher sent to you via email.
Hungry Horse – free drink + £5 off £15
Sign up to the Hungry Horse newsletter (at least 28 days before your birthday).
You’ll get a free drink on your birthday & a voucher for £5 off a £15 food spend. The £5 off voucher is valid for four weeks after you receive the email. For your birthday, you’ll get a choice of cocktail pitcher, four-pint pitcher of Carlsberg or up to five soft drinks (when you buy a sharers or two main courses from the main menu).

Swagbucks – 50SB
Become a Swagbucks member to get a bonus 50SB points on your birthday (valid for 30 days) when you cash out a voucher & various other bonuses for watching videos, playing games, shopping and completing surveys.
Marks & Spencer’s – £5 voucher
Collect a Marks and Sparks Card from your local Marks and Spencer’s (and activate online) to get a free pack of cookies or grapes around your birthday.
Your voucher is valid for 2 weeks from your birthday (see FAQ*)
Shopmium – chocolate
Sign up for to the Shopmium app (& achieve gold membership) to get a free chocolate bar around your birthday.
The Shopmium app offers various discounts on food, drink and beauty – it’s one of my favourite money-saving apps so I recommend downloading this one if you love a freebie or discount.
Hotel Chololat – £5 voucher
Sign up to Hotel Chocolat’s rewards scheme (VIPME) in your local store to receive a hotel chocolat birthday treat – usually a £5 voucher to spend in-store or online.
Hotel Chocolat Birthday freebie will be sent at the start of the month in which your birthday falls and will be valid during that monthly only. You must make a purchase of at least £5.50 to claim the £5 voucher.
Revolution De Cuba – free cocktails
Sign up to receive Revolution De Cuba’s emails then celebrate your birthday at Revolution De Cuba to get free drinks. You’ll receive a code that entitles yourself and 5 friends to 1 complimentary cocktail or 1 standard glass of prosecco.
Valid ID may be required to prove your age and date of birth.
Hobbycraft – free £5 voucher
Sign up to the free Hobbycraft loyalty card by registering online, on your birthday you’ll get £5 off online or in store with no minimum spend.
your voucher is valid for 35 days from the date of issue and you can’t use it with any other offer, or to buy gift cards, workshops, or subscriptions.
