Earn Amazon Gift Cards for Christmas
If you’re like me and hate shopping in store you’ll love Amazon around Christmas time! This year I made a pledge to start saving up all my Amazon gift cards to make Christmas a little easier on my bank account. Since January I’ve earned £200 in Amazon credit and I’m aiming to exceed £300 by November! Below are some of the ways I’ve earned Amazon gift cards.
Sign Up Offers
Bean – a website that helps you to cancel contracts that you’re not using regularly (including gym memberships, internet subscriptions and phone contracts). It tracks your outgoing payments and offers advice on how to reduce/get rid of them! Bean also have a sign-up offer of a £5 Amazon voucher when you sign up for an account – redeemable after a month. Register for a Bean account today and get your £5 Amazon gift card emailed to you in a months’ time!
Swagbucks – a website that offers you credits (known as Swagbucks) for completing tasks like watching videos, playing games & browsing the internet. These credits can then be redeemed for gift cards including Amazon (yay!) I’ve been a member of Swagbucks for years now & over those years Swagbucks has paid for a lot of Christmas presents! I’d recommend reading my ‘Guide to Maximising Your Earnings with Swagbucks’ after you’ve registered for an account. Follow the link below for more survey sites.
Find Job Adverts
Job Spotter – an app that pays people to upload local job vacancies. It’s super simple – all you need to do is snap a picture of a job advert & the shop it’s advertised at & you’ll get points credited to your account. These points can then be redeemed for Amazon gift cards. I’ve found Job Spotter to be a real money earner if you put the time in, a friend of mine earned £30 in an hour snapping job adverts for Job Spotter.
Shoppix – an app that rewards you for uploading receipts. You’re only allowed to upload 1 receipt per store per day but if you remember to do it every time you shop it soon adds up! Once you’ve reached 3200 points (roughly 106 receipts) you can claim a £5 Amazon gift card!
Receipt Hog – another app that rewards you for uploading receipts. You’re allowed to upload 3 receipts per store per day with Receipt Hog so remember to pick up any receipts left at the till! You can cash out a £3 Amazon gift card once you earn 1000 points with this one!
Win with epoints
epoints – an app with daily prize winning games – instant prizes include Amazon gift cards. You can also collect points for uploading receipts and shopping through their site and then redeem these for Amazon, Argos or Starbucks gift cards – perfect Christmas presents! Use code XURM9A0D when you sign up for an extra 5 chances to win!
TopCashback – a cashback website that allows you to earn money whenever you shop online. Retailers pay TopCashback commission for referring you to their website & then they pass this commission back to you as ‘cashback’. I’ve earned over £400 from TopCashback over the past year! If you cash out the money you earn on TopCashback through an Amazon gift card you’ll get a 2.5% bonus (money for nothing!).
Quidco – another cashback site that allows you to earn a % of your money back when you shop online. Again if you cash out your earnings through Amazon gift card you’ll be rewarded with a bonus on your earnings (I’m told it’s up to 6% bonus!).
Keep Off Your Phone
Hold – an app that rewards students for not touching their phone. You get 10 points every 20 minutes that you keep off your phone & once you reach 2500 points you can redeem your points for a £5 Amazon gift card (you will need access to an ac.uk email to cash out) – Hold have stopped stocking Amazon gift cards for the time being but you can still redeem your points on other rewards!
Shot Gun – an app that records your driving and rewards you for being a safe driver! You’ll get points after every recorded drive and be able to redeem these for prizes (including Amazon gift cards).

You’ll need to update your diary every day for a week (they’ll email you a reminder each day) and in exchange, you’ll be rewarded with a £5 voucher of your choice (either Amazon or M&S).
