Cashback Angel (Review): Find the Best Cashback Rate
Today I’ll be reviewing a new cashback comparison tool called Cashback Angel. Cashback is a must for money saving enthusiasts. I’ve earned £1000’s through cashback websites including TopCashback and Quidco.
The process of gaining cashback is simple, when shopping online you visit the retailer through the cashback website, they get commission for referring you to the retailer and then hand the majority of this commission back to you as cashback – it’s free money!
There are a whole host of websites, cards and apps you can use to earn cashback. Some of favourite cashback options include TopCashback, Shopmium, Airtime Rewards, Cheddar and Honey – you can find out more about each of these in my guide to cashback.
Finding the best Cashback rates
While it’s brilliant to have so many options for earning cashback, it can be hard to know which one is offering the best rate on your chosen retailer. This is where Cashback Angel helps. Cashback Angel is a website and browser extension that helps you to compare the best cashback rates for any given retailer.
It requires some effort to check the rates of each of the cashback websites you’re signed up to before making a purchase. This clever tool helps you to quickly find the site that will offer you the most money for your purchase – saving you £100’s or even £1000’s in the long run.
It’s also important to mention that depending on the apps, websites and cards that you’re using you may also be able to earn from cashback from more than one of them on a single purchase. For example the Airtime Rewards app is connected to your payment card so shopping through a cashback website such as TopCashback will mean that you can earn from both the app and website.
My experience with Cashback Angel
I’m signed up to almost every cashback website I can find so Cashback Angel is brilliant for making sure that I’m getting the best rate every time. They allow you to compare cashback and miles from TCB, Quidco, Kidstart, Virgin, British Airways, Avios and many more. You can view the rate for over 7000 UK merchants – and the rates are updated every day
Using the website is very easy, everything is set out in a logical and organised way, and it’s simple to find and compare rates for your favourite retailer. When you first visit the Cashback Angel website you’ll see a search box – use this to search for your selected retailer.
As you can see in the image above I did a search for cashback rates at Boots. From this search, Cashback Angel found me rates from 2%-7% – this could result in big savings depending on the purchase. Cashback Angel also compared the amount of air miles that I could earn with my purchase including 4 points per £1 at Virgin Atlantic and 24 miles per £10 at Flying Blue.

Cashback Angel is definitely worth adding to your money saving toolkit. My advice is to add the browser extension (available on Chrome or Firefox) to make sure that you don’t miss out on the best cashback rates when shopping.
Downfalls to Angel Cashback?
There are no major fault to Angel Cashback. You don’t need to create an account, add your card details or share any personal information with them. They have no motive other than to find you the best deal on your cashback.
The only thing worth remembering is that from time to time you may be offered bonus offers through various cashback schemes and these might not always be visible to Cashback Angel. Likewise there may be times that you can’t access certain cashback rates that may be visible to others. Regardless this is a brilliant tool that I’m sure will help many people gain the best rates and save money.
