Top 5 Ways to Earn Money Online
Got some spare time? In need of a little extra cash? There are tons of ways to make some extra money online! I know what you’re thinking, surely this is too good to be true? Trust me, I’ve managed to earn over £1000 online from home in one month! Here are my top 5 ways that you can earn £££’s with nothing more than a PC and the internet.
Earn Money by Freelancing
Freelancers work is a type of self-employment that is carried out on a flexible basis. This could be a really good earner depending on what suits your skills and availability.
Fiverr is my favourite freelance services marketplace. It’s free to sign up and you can pretty much offer any service you wish. The most advertised services include photography, graphic design, web development and content writing. Some people get full-time work from Fiverr and others offer their services as a side hustle. Once you complete a buyer’s order, your earnings are transferred straight into your account (you keep 80% of each transaction).
Selling your old stuff, or stuff that you’ve acquired on the cheap can be a real money earner and one worth considering if you’re looking to make money from home. Gadgets are likely to make you a tidy income, but you need to sell these asap as they quickly lose value. Ebay and Amazon are probably the most well known marketplace websites! But there are a whole range of websites and apps (for example: depop, music magpie and webuybooks) that you can utilise to sell, and make a profit from your items!
There are tons of research companies willing to offer rewards for consumer opinions! The amount you earn with survey sites really does depend on the amount of effort you’re willing to put in! It’s worth considering the best survey site for you as some will be better for certain people depending on your attention span, response method and preferred payment method.
My favourite survey site is Prolific, because it was set up to help real researchers find participants for their studies thus the surveys are always interesting and pay better than most. They also let you cash out once you’ve reached £5 via PayPal.
With Appen, you can work from home a Social Media Evaluator or Search Engine Analysis. An SME/SEA provides feedback on ads, news feeds, and search results on social media platforms.
Payment can vary depending on the project and job that you sign up for. Typically, the average job pays around £10 per hour. You will need to record your hours and submit an invoice and you’ll be paid monthly through your preferred payment method. Due to you working as an ‘Independent Contractor’, you will need to register as self employed and take care of your taxes.
Start a blog
There are tons of bloggers that blog full-time and earn some very good money doing so! To earn money from blogging you have to be willing to put in some extra work & do your research. Most bloggers earn their money by doing sponsored posts, affiliate marketing and advertising.
For example, I started this blog in July 2018 (still a baby blogger) but while I’ve been enjoying blogging I have just joined the affiliate marketing world. Affiliate marketing means that if you buy a product or sign up to a service through some of the links on my blog I earn a small commission. However, the majority of my blog income comes from sponsored posts. This is when someone pays you to publish something on your blog.
Bonus Tip: Earn Money When your PC is Idle
FluidStack is a cloud platform that serves website content from a network of consumer devices. When your device isn’t in use, Fluidstack will put your bandwidth and CPU to use. You can earn up to $50/month with your bandwidth for doing absolutely nothing! Sign up, download the node and start making money from your idle computer!!
In addition to the opportunities mentioned, you can also find tons of work from home opportunities in one of my latest posts! Do you have a foolproof way of earning extra income through online means? Please do share your own ideas in the comments!
